Investricity was founded in September 2009, and is based in Dublin, Ireland. Key members of the management team have significant experience in developing large renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

Our Leadership:

Kevin Lynch- President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Lynch co-founded Investricity after working for a number of years in developing renewable energy in biofuels, energy storage, solar and waste to energy. In total he has led development in over €500m of renewable energy investments. He was previously a Senior Partner in Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and worked with Booz Allen and General Electric in his early career. He is primarily focused on relationships to industry and capital markets. Mr. Lynch was awarded an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Ford Scholar, and an honours degree in  biochemical engineering from University College Dublin.

Nick Howard, Chief Financial Officer

Nick has more than 20 years of experience in establishing and raising finance for renewable energy and infrastructure businesses.  Prior to joining Investricity he had more than 5 years with NTR plc during which time he was instrumental in the establishment and financing of NTR’s US biofuels business (GPRE) and latterly led the international business development activity for Tessera Solar   International.   Prior to NTR, he was 11 years with Standard Bank and founded its Project Finance group based in London closing numerous transactions in sub-Saharan Africa and, latterly, leading the establishment of the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund in partnership with the UK’s DfID.   He has a BSc (Edinburgh), ACCA Diploma, and MBA (Henley).
